Marine Operations Center - Pacific has completed the
Department of Commerce (DOC) "Ten Steps to Glory" in
the Implementation of the first Environmental Management
System in DOC and NOAA.
MOC-P met the requirements of ISO 14001, Executive
Order 13148 and Code of Environmental Management Principles.
Review our Environmental Stewardship Program and other
documents of our program.
Marine Operations Center - Atlantic has completed
the Department of Commerce (DOC) "Ten Steps to
Glory" in the Implementation of thier Environmental
Management System and has met the requirements of ISO
14001, Executive Order 13148 and Code of Environmental
Management Principles.
Marine Operations Center - Atlantic (MOA) received
the 3-star Model Level rating from the Elizabeth River
Project ( ERP) River Stars program. MOA was commended
as a Model Level facility for exhibiting “exceptional
pollution prevention and wildlife habitat results while
mentoring others as community leaders in environmental
stewardship.” In the ERP’s 10-year history,
no other organization, public or private, has ever
received this highest level of achievement in their
