The NCCOS EMS incorporates all activities of our employees and partners as well as any visitors to our facility locations. If you plan to visit one of our sites, please be aware that all visitors:

  1. must be cognizant of our EMS and act accordingly;
  2. must complete the NCCOS EMS Awareness Training if you plan on conducting research or other work activities; and
  3. must get clearance, in advance, for planned research, facility maintenance, and other work activities especially if it requires the use of additional chemicals, equipment, motor vehicles or vessels on site.

For further information, please contact the appropriate NCCOS EMS Team Member or the NCCOS Environmental Management Representative, Rick Meitzler.

In response to many requests, NCCOS has developed a downloadable version of the NCCOS EMS Awareness Training for use in developing a custom EMS Awareness Course.  Click HERE to access this version.
