Department
of Commerce Administrative Orders (DAO)/Memoranda - Safety
The development and
implementation of internal controls is a fundamental building block on
which an accountable program is developed and maintained.
DOC Administrative Orders are used to document and mandate continuing
policies, standards requirements, and procedures prescribed by the
Office of the Secretary of Commerce for Department-wide application or
for application
to two or more major program areas of the Department. They cover substantive
program matters as well as administrative management, legal, or special
