Noise Control Act - Minimize noise impacts through engineering, operational controls, siting, and procurement

- Reduce interior noise levels to protect employee health

Federal Facility Compliance Act of 1992 - Federal facilities waive immunity with respect to subtantive and procedural requirements
Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuary Act - Maintain and preserve marine resources

- Eliminate dumping waste into marine environment

Occupational Safety and Health Act - Ensure health and safety of all personnel

- Conduct occupational health and safety surveys

- Monitor/minimize personnel exposure in workplace

Hazardous Material Transportation Act - Procedures for HM transport in delivery vehicles

- Labeling, placarding, and manifesting requirements

Superfund Amendment and Reauthorization Act - Clean up of sites contaminated by past operations and activities
Executive Orders  
EO 11514 - Protection and Enhancement of Evironment Quality - Formally implements NEPA as describe above
EO 11738 - Providing for Administration of the CAA and Federal WPCA with Respect to Federal Contracts, Grants, or Loans - Federal agencies will enter into contracts for procurement of goods, materials or services that will result in effective enforcement of CAA and CWA
EO 11988 - Floodplain Management - Avoid adverse impacts associated with occupancy and/or modification of floodplains
EO 11990 - Protection of Wetlands - Mandates no net loss of wetlands
EO 12088 - Federal Compliance with Pollution Control Standards - Requires Federal agencies to develop pollution control plans and submit to OMB annually

- Requires Federal agencies to program and budget funds for environmental compliance

EO 12580 - Superfund Implementation - Implements Superfund described above
EO 12777 - Implementation Requirements and Policies for Federal Agencies for Ozone-Depleting Substances - Requires phase out of ozone depleting substances
EO 12844 - Federal Use of Alternative Fueled Vehicules - AFVs must be phased into Federal vehicle fleets
EO 12845 - Purchasing Energy Efficient Computer Equipment - Energy efficient computers must be phased into Federal purchasing schedules
EO 12856 - Federal Compliance with Right-to-Know Laws and Pollution Prevention Requirements - Mandates EPCRA compliance by all Federal agencies as described above

- Embraces pollution prevention as Federal-wide ethic

- Set goals for reducting toxic and hazardous releases to environment

- Integrates P2 into government purchasing and contracting

EO 12873 - Acquisition, Recycling, and Waste Prevention - Sets goals for solid waste prevention and recycling

- Requires establishment of affirmative procurement programs

EO 12898 - Federal Actions to Address Environmental Justice in Minority Populations and Low-Income Populations - Requires recognition of populations that have experienced a significant share of the nation's environmental burden
EO 12902 - Energy Efficiency and Water Conservation - Sets goals for reductions in energy and water consumption

- Mandates increased efficiencies and purchase of energy efficient products

EO 13031 - Federal Alternative Fueled Vehicle Leadership - Federal agencies must develop and implement aggressive plans to fulfill EPACT requirements for AFVs

- Agencies must use alternate fuels in all vehicules capable of using them

- Requires annual progress reports to OMB
